For Blogger's Random Question

Blogger Website Random Question: "Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth"

Answer: Its an allegory for how the entire economy is built on monetary value however people often ignore the fundamental unit of value just like they ignore the fundamental value of one life for their ideals or selfishness. Thus the taste of pennies is the taste of that fundamental value and it reminds you of 'loss' precisely because no matter how minor a loss is a loss and removing something from the universe is a 'loss' that also affects you. With the loss of that fundamental unit, person, or value, you have 'lost' possibilities you could have had. Thus the remembrance of losing a tooth is what you experience when putting pennies in your mouth, a reminder of the self-harm you commit by ignoring the fundamental unit of society, economics, and people. The feeling of loss is linked to a tooth because although you may 'lose' the tooth, you have others however you are forever 'lesser' than yourself could have been and forever reminded of that loss whenever you eat. So just as you 'tasted' or 'ate' pennies, you now then are reminded of 'loss' whenever you eat anything other than pennies as well, a permanent reminder and possibly punishment for forsaking the 'fundamental unit' of all systems.
